Qualifications

(BA Degree in Legal Studies & Taxation, Certificate in Legal Practice & Procedures, member of Institute of Legal Executives Ireland).

  • Supported Senior Partner and Senior Associate in large Meath Firm for upwards of 15 years in Probate Department.  Current Role supporting Senior Partner in Elaine Byrne Solicitors in all areas of probate to include disputes in Estates & lodging caveats, assisting in drafting Wills & Enduring Powers of Attorney etc. aiding in the research and preparation of Discretionary Trust Wills for clients with Special needs beneficiaries.
  • Areas of expertise/assistance in Registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney to include preparation of all legal documents and requirements in order to have EPA registered and Attorney appointed to act on behalf of Donor.
  • Keen interest in all matters probate related especially the Assisted Decision Making (capacity)  Act 2015 and the changes it may have on legal practitioners going forward and assisting clients with decision making.
  • Understanding it is a vulnerable time for clients and assisting the process from instruction to completion as best as possible.
